  • What can I expect from my first therapy session?
This is an opportunity for you and your therapist to get to know each other. Your therapist will be interested in knowing more about your life and why you are seeking therapy. There may feel like a lot of questions and you can ask to take a break at any stage. You can also ask the therapist as many questions as you need to as well! You will work together to set goals and a plan to move forward.
  • How do I book in a session?
Please complete the referral form, found online and our admin will be in contact with to discuss booking in your first session. Or feel free to give us a call and to chat more.
  • How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is so beautifully unique so there is not a cookie cutter, one size fits all answer here. Some people may require only a few sessions, while others may need longer-term therapy. The number of sessions will vary depending on individual needs, how many goals there are to achieve and how regular sessions are. During your initial appointment, your therapist will discuss a tailored plan for frequency and duration of your sessions.
  • Should I be in session with my child?
We welcome parents and caretakers to be involved and present during sessions. That way you are able to ask questions, observe and trial strategies in the session to take home with you and continue to implement.
  • Is there a waitlist?
The Village Hive is currently only taking referrals to be placed on the waitlist. Waitlist times vary depending on location and your preferred days and times for appointments.

  • What are your fees?
We believe in full transparency and will never leave you feeling surprised with an invoice. Our fee structure can be found on our website. Prior to booking in your initial session we will further discuss our fees which will also be found in your service agreement.
